Haseeb Iqbal: The Literary Hour
20.09.20Broadcaster Haseeb Iqbal is back for his monthly show.
For this month’s Literary Hour, Haseeb delves into the writings of minority voices, exploring struggle through the lens of literature. He reads Riz Ahmed’s essay in ‘The Good Immigrant’ as well as extracts from Viktor Frankl’s ‘Man’s Search For Meaning’ and Kavita Puri’s ‘Partition Voices.’ He shines a light on underrepresented narratives and struggles, accompanying them alongside Louis Armstrong’s extract from ‘Daily Rituals’, all spoken on top of a sound-bed of music courtesy of Hiroshi Yoshimura.
