This month Haseeb is joined by Norwegian saxophonist, Bror Havnes, who makes up one seventh of Oslo-based, West African funk-influenced outfit, Flammer Dance Band. The pair discuss the riveting, up-and-coming live music scene in Oslo and the influences it incorporates, fusing breakdancing and graffiti culture alongside hip-hop, jazz, funk and more. They explore the current sounds emerging from the depths of Oslo, Bror’s personal discography and the worldwide influences that have filtered into his sound.
