Gilles Peterson has curated a temporary record store combining hard-to-find vinyl, books, talks and concerts and all proceeds from sales and tickets went to Safaplace, who supported young people in understanding and dealing with their mental health.

Gilles Peterson has curated a temporary record store combining hard-to-find vinyl, books, talks and concerts. As part of our commitment to supporting social action through radio, we’ve been documenting the Look Up events alongside young people from a range of backgrounds in Hackney – our London home and one which has given so much to us since beginning the incepting the Worldwide FM platform. Together, we have captured audio, video and photographs and worked them up to broadcast quality standard for a series of programmes on our station. It’s only possible to have worked with and mentored these young creatives with the support and collaboration of employability programme Create Jobs for the charity A New Direction.
