Maia is a Japanese/French singer and flutist. She sings using a special throat technique from a small island in the South of Japan, mixing it with modern and electric sounds. Maïa gives a live performance of traditional Japanese island folk music.
Yosi Horikawa is a Japanese producer and sound creator who incorporates field recordings into his music – he presents his field recording sounds and inspirational music.
Yuko Asanuma is a music journalist, broadcaster, event organiser and record collector from Japan based in Berlin.
Huraka is one of Japan’s leading next-generation techno DJs and a resident DJ and co-organizer of DJ Nobu’s infamous Future Terror parties. Haruka DJs an hour long chillout/downbeat set.
DJ Nobu is Japanese techno royalty. He organises the now legendary party Future Terror and runs his own label Bitta in his home town, Chiba city. He returns for the second date of his Oval Space residency.
