Auckland based DJ and producer Frank Booker presents a wide ranging look at the music of his city. New Zealand jazz legend Nathan Haines is interviewed about his roots growing up on the North Shore of Auckland, before departing for London (via New York), and finally returning to Auckland.
Jeremy Toy AKA Leonard Charles presents a half hour mix, featuring unreleased music from his projects featuring the likes of Guilty Simpson, Louis Baker and more. He also talks about the impact a serious head injury has had upon his music making process.
Also featured is music from the likes of Julien Dyne, Bailey Wiley, Yoko-Zuna, Manuel Darquart, and the many projects of the wildly talented vocalist Tom Scott, including @Peace and Average Rap Band.
Frank Booker is a DJ, Producer and Educator based in Auckland City, New Zealand. He has quietly built a worldwide reputation for incredible edits and amazing DJ sets. His main claim to fame may well be that he was the DJ of choice for Prince (RIP) during his tour of NZ during 2016.
Nathan Haines is a musician who blends his love of jazz harmony and melody with modern production styles and a dance floor sensibility.
