Two hour show focusing on the Glasgow music scene. Rebecca Vasmant hosts three guests who have been influential parts of the scene with their clubs and input over the last two decades. Together they detail the scene, play some records and portray their vision of the city they call home.

JD Twitch

JD Twitch has hosted the legendary club night Optimo for many years, and has been an integral part of the alternative electronic music scene in Glasgow. He and Jonnie Wilkes created the party that holds a lasting influence with its unique music and it continues to be one of the best parties in Glasgow and across the UK.

Tommy Smith

Tommy Smith is one of the biggest influencers of the Glasgow Jazz scene. He was responsible for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland starting a Jazz course, as well as having been signed to Blue Note Records at only 20 years old.

Melting Pot

Melting Pot is one of the longest running club nights in Glasgow, the first to host many disco legends including David Mancuso. With their own custom sound system, the sound brings the experience of a Melting Pot evening to the next level.

Rebecca Vasmant

Rebecca Vasmant is a Glasgow based selector and reocrd collector, promoting record fairs and parties in Glasgow’s Sub Club. Jazz, funk, disco, latin, house and soul all make their way into her record bag, searching for new music any minute that is spare in the day.
