Born in Santo Domingo – Latin America’s new mecca for electronic music, based in Kyoto, Max Pela was the headlining resident DJ at Ocho Puertas in Santo Domingo where he became a legend with the Underground House community.
His music is Deep, Afro/Tribal, Soulful, Tech and intense; graying boundaries between genres. He grew to have close relationship with Osunlade and ended up collaborating many times.
Currently, Max continues to spread the culture of Deep House and Afro-Rooted Rhythms through live DJ performances, radio podcast, and producing live events via AFROBETA BODEGA, his production company, while traveling around the world and bringing his unique sound.
DJ Masaki Tamura
DJ and architecture designer and the organiser of Representing Kyoto’s JAZZ / CROSSOVER event “Do it JAZZ!“, Masaki Tamura. Since he started the event from 2006, he invited and played with guests such as Dego, Floating points, H GO L , Aroop oy, ONK to the event.
Shuya Okino is a Japanese DJ, songwriter, author and the producer of the popular music venue The Room in Shibuya, Tokyo.
