Worldwide FM x Rhodes present TRIOLOGY: Episode 1 - Amaro Freitas
Gilles Peterson and Worldwide FM are thrilled to announce the first instalment of Triology, an exciting collaboration with Rhodes, focusing on the timeless art of the jazz trio format. This project places the new Mk8 piano at the heart of a classic ensemble, comprising piano, bass, and drums.
The debut session features the extraordinary Brazilian pianist Amaro Freitas, known for his unique blend of traditional African rhythms and modern improvisation. Accompanied by talented musicians David Mrakpor and Barrell Jones. Together, they breathe new life into the traditional jazz trio, offering a fresh take.
