In Place of War is a global organisation that uses creativity in places of conflict as a tool for positive change. Across the month of October, In Place of War are engaging members of the public and worldwide music industry partners in a collaborative fundraising challenge; AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 RAVES. Throughout the month there are streamed raves by DJs from all over the world, celebrating the efforts of all the fundraisers being sponsored to complete their distances and to help boost fundraising efforts.

Money raised collectively will help fund music studio developments in 2 areas of conflict in São Paulo, Brazil, and Lavender Hill, South Africa. Get involved or donate to support the projects here.

THE CHALLENGE

Participants can dance, walk, run, cycle or swim their distance to be completed at their own pace and seek sponsorship for their efforts, to contribute towards the 7,200 mile / 11,600km distance across some of the 26 countries where In Place of War has projects.
