Al Jackson RIP (Live at Jazz Is Dead) // 14-01-21

Al Jackson was truly a Los Angeles original. With a suave calming aura, Al was the kind quiet type who preferred to speak with his music. Exciting and igniting dance floors in any genre of black music Al had a way of bringing the glow out of a crowd. Al, Rome and Sacred are the Soul Children. JuJu was their flagship party where LA’s soul people and dancers came to experiment within the ritual of the cypher under the banner of health, peace and UNITY. It was like no other event that existed in LA, if not the country. News of his passing has stung the heart of LA’s music scene. Along with Dj Rob One, Dj Dusk, Al Jackson is joining the illest party in the ethers. Live beat sets by Ras G of course. RIP.
