This week Gilles is joined for a chat and live session by drummer and producer Richard Spaven, a familiar name in the UK Jazz world who has played for the likes of José James, Flying Lotus, The Cinematic Orchestra, Guru’s Jazzmatazz, and Gregory Porter alongside writing and performing his own highly regarded music. Spaven plays in the basement with a new trio performing music from his new record, Spirit Beats.
Also dropping by to chat and play some records in the basement is Patrick Forge, legendary DJ in the london jazz scene and Gilles' partner at their famous Dingwalls parties.
