Carlos Icaza kicks off 2021 with some personal highlights of 2020, including new Conjunto Papa Upa, Bardo Martinez and Chicano Batman, and the Sofia Viola & La Plaza del Puma collaboration in Chile. We'll also hear tunes from Negro Leo's fantastic lockdown album, Mexico city's Son Rompe Pera with El Macha from Chico Trujillo and the legendary Matheus Aleluia from Os Tincoãs. Also the great Raul Monsalve y los Forajidos, Elia & Elizabeth under Juan Carlos Calderón production, and a homage to the late Rudy Salas of El Chicano and Tierra fame.
