DJ Paulette presents Accaliberation. It’s a love letter to ‘the first instrument’, that sets out to honour Paulette’s number one passion: the human voice. Happy New Year and Welcome to the first Accaliberation of 2021. Since National Lockdown has been recommissioned for series 3, Paulette focuses this month’s story time on the theme of ’Never Alone’. She calls on some soulful sages and wise wordsmiths from Soulclap, The Beatles, James Brown, Fame Gospel Choir, Marco Faraone, Bobbi Humphrey, Patrice Rushen, Brainstorm, Blaze and many more to channel a message of how we can make our way through this lockdown and the pandemic with dignity, a smile and a sweaty body. It’s a soul, funk, disco, house genre hopper and tells an isolation story like only music and lyrics can.
