Future Nostalgia: Atiyyah Khan

Tune in for Future Nostalgia with Johannesburg-hailing music journalist, DJ and researcher Atiyyah Khan, who digs out gems, past and present. The show is an extension and representation of the music collective she co-founded in Cape Town called Future Nostalgia, which has been hosting listening sessions in the city for the past eight years.

For this month’s show, Atiyyah digs into some Tropicalia from Brazil, Afghani rap, Nubian folk and some gems from Cape Verde. Also featuring Lebanese composer Elias Rahbani, South African duo Stiff Pap and Morocco’s finest Maalem Mahmoud Ghania.
