Global Roots Radio from Tate Modern // 29-11-19

Global Roots Radio, a weekly dose of experimental, underground music from across all corners of the globe; with independent music and culture at the core. Global Roots and a host of special guests respond to the brilliant Nam Jun Paik exhibition with Random Access, a collaboration with afro-electronic music producer Ekiti Sound, digital art specialists James Harford (Beej) and Sabina Covarrubias to reveal a data-generated audio visual experiment. You can expect live talks during the event from DADA.Art, MOCDA, Robbie Barrat, Dr Holly Rogers and Rebecca Ubuntu. He will be joined by many of the participating artists including Tim Yates of Hackoustic, Adah Parris of Round Table Discussion: Cyborg Shamanism, Liat / Jessye of Tate Lates, the CEO of Holition, Jonathan and two of the students in Visual Data Projection, Tate Curator Valentina Ravaglia who is the assistant curator for NJP exhibition, and Serena Tabacchi from MOCDA.
