Adding to the stew, some Trinidadian flavour with Cristo, and his spicy Monkey and Donkey, Hi Life wonder Atakora Manu (his Afro HighlLife LP, will soon be reissued by BBE) and Malian singer Nahawa Doumbia, among others Caribbean delights, like the weird calypso by Adelino Marquez, from the Venezuelan eastern state of Sucre, and experimental funk-rock from Grupo Cañon.
