In the devastation caused by the LA fires this month, we have seen important artists within our own music community lose not just their possessions, but significant parts of our shared cultural heritage – from Madlib to Bennie Maupin and Sheila E to Brijean and more.
We've decided to gather our community, in partnership with The Steve Reid Foundation, to host an event at Total Refreshment Centre to raise funds towards helping our brothers and sisters rebuild and move forward.
Worldwide FM will be streaming live from Total Refreshment Centre's sold out event with DJ sets from Gilles Peterson, Jamz Supernova, IZCO, Lex Blondin and Zaereo playing to support the cause.
