This month MARINA is in conversation with experimental musician Okkyung Lee discussing her new album, Yeo Neun and exploring Lee’s career as an avante garde artist located between NYC and Seoul, drawing on her influences, overcoming limitations, and how her work disrupts the traditional role of audience and musician. At the end of the show MARINA has a quick catch up with director Yasmin Fedda talking about her new film which explores two people’s search for their loved ones, examining the experience of people who have been forcibly removed from Syria since 2011.
