Hosted by Maxime L., filling in for Zaereo, this episode features Chicago-based drummer, composer, and songwriter Alvin Cobb Jr., who released his debut album You’ll Need This Later earlier this year. Maxime L. is a DJ, radio host and event organizer based in Berlin. He is the founder of the Astral Traveling listening sessions and radio shows of the same name. As part of the team at JAW Family, he helps bridge the gap between the traditions of Black American and European music and the alternative and independent sounds that have been traversing the Atlantic for decades.
