Zaereo is a radio host, DJ, and curator currently based in London with close ties to her past European homes. Connecting international rock, jazz, and all manner of experimental meditations, she holds a proper place for the sounds of the global South and cross-cultural exchanges.
For the first show of 2025, she explores sounds from New York City after a recent visit, and chats with Bristol-based trio Jabu to hear about their latest dreamy and experimental album A Soft and Gatherable Star. They talk all about the process of recording, their shared influences, and forging a community in Bristol as well as further afield.
