For over 20 years Lisbon based Rodrigo aka Trol2000 has been dedicating much of his time to his passion for sound and music whilst sharing his knowledge and dedication either as a DJ or since 2017 also in his record store Peekaboo Records. Throughout this time his carefully selected sets have become a staple in the Portuguese scene, made him a regular guest of the Horse Meat Disco parties at Lux Frágil and put his name onto line-ups in cities like Paris, Munich and Berlin.

As a DJ, Trol2000 light-footedly maneuvers styles and decades from Leftfield Synth-Pop, to cosmic tinged Disco to almost forgotten classics and creates a contagious atmosphere full of energy on the dancefloor. His signature style of playing has also led to guest appearances on beloved outlets like NTS and Cashmere Radio.

Dating way back to the 90s and his punk band days Trol also always had an interest in music production. In 2017 he brought that back to light with a 7” on his own imprint Onda Onda Music, followed by a now sought after release on Outerzona13.
