QC Radio is a weekly look at the creativity flowing through the City of Chicago. We'll hear from Chicago-based musicians, DJs, record stores, journalists, labels and parties. This season is curated by broadcaster, event producer and member of the International Anthem family, King Hippo. We're visiting the city's South Side today and stopping by 606 Records, a record shop located in the Pilsen neighbourhood of Chicago. We'll hear a mix from the shop's owner, Drew Mitchell, as well as a mix from Drew's guest in the shop, musician and DJ, Daniel Villarreal-Carrillo (Dos Santos/ Ida Y Vuelta/ Valebol). King Hippo ends the show with some of his recently released favourites.
