QC Radio: King Hippo with Sonorama and Mo Manley // 12-01-21

QC Radio is a weekly look at the creativity flowing through the City of Chicago. We'll hear from Chicago-based musicians, DJs, record stores, journalists, labels and parties. This season is curated by broadcaster, event producer and member of the International Anthem family, King Hippo. 2020 marked the 10th Anniversary of Sonorama, a DJ collective and record label formed by Charly Garcia, Eddy Baca and Marlowe Baca. We’ve asked them to share their story and to share the music they’ve put out. Sonorama’s goal is to promote the songs, rhythms and roots of music that falls within the Latin American diaspora.
