Nina Maia is a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer from São Paulo (SP). Nina has collaborated on soundtracks for six Brazilian feature films, including a stunning version of "I Will Survive", recorded alongside singers Maria Gadú, Iza and Liniker, for the film Todas as Canções de Amor (2018). With singer-songwriter Tiê, Nina composed for the album Gaya, released by Tiê in 2017. Her solo career began in 2021 with the single "De Dentro", co-produced by Nina in partnership with Lúcio Maia (Nação Zumbi). Two years later, she released the song "Gosto Meio Doce", with singer and friend Francisca Barreto, and the single and clip "SUA". In the first half of 2024, Nina presented the single-clip "AMARGO", produced by her in partnership with Yann Dardenne and Francisca Barreto and in November of the same year she released her debut album, "INTEIRA", produced by her and Yann Dardenne. Nina Maia's sound begins with her dialogue with contemporary Brazilian music, but expands as she delves into different sources of inspiration, mixing jazz with MPB and indie pop, among others.
