Paula Juana is head of sync and creative uses at Soundway Records and managing director at Soundway Publishing. This episode she is joined by producer/musician Simón Mejía. Simón is the founder of internationally-acclaimed Colombian group Bomba Estéreo. Formed in 2005, they create a vibrant fusion of Latin, electronic, pop, cumbia, and psychedelic styles. Rolling Stone Magazine has hailed Bomba Estéreo as leaders of a Latin American scene that is “fusing old school folk sounds with more modern and electronic rap styles.” Bomba Estéreo has received international acclaim for an eye popping live show, with hundreds of shows in hundreds of cities.
