This episode of the show is guest hosted by Nigerian artist and music producer, Suté Iwar, who is
on the Soundway Publishing roster. His style of music is Afro-fusion, which is a mixture of African
rhythms with other styles that influence him, like R&B/Soul-Funk and Hip Hop/Rap. His most
recent full length album release, ‘199X’, debuted at No. 1 on the Apple Music alternative music
chart in Nigeria. He will be joined by Tomi Owó, who is a Nigerian singer/songwriter that was
recently selected to feature on the 30th-anniversary version of Metallica’s ‘The Black Album’
covering ‘Through The Never’.
