Danilo Plessow AKA Motor City Drum Ensemble is on a constant mission to discover new sounds. This one-man-band(ensemble), hailed for his unique combinations of retro and futuristic German house, draws from an impressive and multi-faceted record collection. The celebrated DJ and producer shares some of the music that inspires him every month here on Worldwide FM. For the first hour of the show, Danilo is in the mix and selects 80s 45s, including boogie, Brazilian music and much more. He plays out some of his favourite Phil Asher records, as he has truly been a very important inspiration for him. On the second hour, AliA joins for a guest mix. AliA is one of the most promising DJs from Belgium with a thorough knowledge of club music and interesting mixing techniques.
