Over the last couple of years and especially over the past two summers Jazz Montez and their event series Holidays in Frankfurt / Germany has become a must if you are into forward thinking, groove-oriented jazz sounds of different shades: on the terrace right in front of the Kunstverein Familie Montez they present exciting bands and DJs - open-air, free for all to come. Two weeks ago Echt! from Brussels took over the Friday Night. Before their show Tereza sat down with them and they talked about Echt!'s approach to making music - both in studio and live -, their musical inspirations, the Brew-Mix-Series and about the jazz scene in Brussels in general.
