Worldwide FM New Orleans brings you the melody and rhythms of the crescent city. A place where enslaved Africans joined with the Indigineous first people to resist and to create music and culture that continues to resonate throughout the world. Every show is anchored by an hour each from Brice Nice and Soul Sister followed by special guest selectors each month. For the next hour, WW New Orleans continues with Jevon Tate, a vinyl collector focusing on rare soulful and funky 7 inch records, ranging from the mid 60’s to the 80’s. He has a weekly show for the 45 Automatic show on WTUL New Orleans. This show is dedicated to sounds of Mardi Gras morning, at the crack of dawn, when everyone is unloading, setting up and securing their spots, icing the beer, and firing up the grills along the parade route. The songs that when you hear them, you know it’s Mardi Gras Day!
