" music scene needs its guerrilla artists, those who move everywhere, who go below the radar to be detected only by the people who will know how to appreciate and value them. Vinocio is nothing new, without a doubt, they are the revelation of these strange and changing recent years…” Iñaki Duran

Founded and led by Lucio Memi and Fermín Carpena in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The group is characterized by its versatility (being able to adapt their show from a small jazz club to a large venue or stadium)

The new album, “Tostados”, enhances the groove component with songs that they have already been playing live and other new ones, in a kaleidoscopic balance between the fusion that is already the hallmark of the group and the experimentation that expands the borders of their music.

The short song that opens the album, “Gangsta”, sounds like a declaration of the band's principles and slows down to give way to “Tostados” and “Risah”,
a jazzy relaxed combo in which the vibraphone of Fermín Merlo, one of the guest musicians, stands out.
The intimate atmosphere is maintained as if they had moved to Brazil in “Favela” and deepens in “Cabo”, with acoustic guitar and synthesizer, ideal for a beach sunset.

The sixth song is that hit song called “Colibrí”, a catchy and rhythmic melody that Herbie Hancock could have composed in his jazz funk period, where the star is the distorted voice of Maxi Sayes and the contributions of Javier Burin and Tade Fonk.

When the next track arrives, “Cash”, the party is already complete: it is difficult to stop dancing with that steamroller with a Jamiroquai air that the singer Moah leads and complements Sergio Wagner's trumpet with a solo soaked in jazz. The finale, with “Lento”, is a soulful tasting drink that proposes a calm closing.

With “Tostados”, Vinocio manages to establish himself as much more than a musical promise.
