Kayla is joined by a special guest, Minimal Drone GRL. Drawing inspiration from nature and the great outdoors, Minimal Drone GRL is the alias of Vancouver-born sound sculptor and field recordist, Joanne O'Keeffe. Dividing her time between the U.K. and the vast mountainous regions of British Columbia, she started producing music in the early 2000’s and has worked on a number of solo and collaborative projects. Minimal Drone GRL joins Kayla for an exclusive guest mix using her field recordings to weave stories and travel through some rich soundscapes. She is currently releasing via the Glasgow based label, Bricolage.
