Representing the alternative in European music and attitude, Match&Fuse takes up Worldwide FM’s purpose of uncovering artists hell-bent on staying true to themselves. Every Match&Fuse show features tracks made by women pushing their own boundaries to compose music with meaning. This month hears new releases from Ingrid Laubrock, Susana Santos Silva, Loraine James and Kaja Draksler to honour International Women’s Day. There’s also music that links to the theme of ‘dreams’, and a live recording played in memory of Bill Harkin who built the first Pyramid stage for Glastonbury in 1971 after the idea came to him in a dream.
