Mauricio Ramírez is a Colombian drummer best known for his work with the avant-garde music collective Meridian Brothers and his solo project Empanada Galactica, Hagudo, an avan-garde duo together with Cesar Quevedo.
Mauricio’s drumming showcases his versatility in various styles, reflecting the fusion of local folk traditions and global musical influences. his projects often feature experimental approaches to composition and instrumentation, exemplified by their ability to mix analog and electronic sounds seamlessly .
