Psychic Hotline is an artist-run recording company based in Durham, North Carolina – founded by Amelia Meath & Nick Sanborn of Sylvan Esso alongside their longtime manager, Martin Anderson.
Will Hackney (Head of Production for Psychic Hotline) presents an hour of some of his favorite tracks from the continent of Africa. Featuring songs from Ethiopia, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Mali, Angola, Zambia, Eritrea, and more - spanning many different decades. Most of these songs he discovered on compilations while working as a DJ at WXYC radio in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, as well as at a few different record stores that he worked at in the Triangle area.
