QC Radio is a weekly look at the creativity flowing through the City of Chicago. We'll hear from Chicago-based musicians, DJs, record stores, journalists, labels and parties. This season is curated by broadcaster, event producer and member of the International Anthem family, King Hippo. Today we’re spending some time in the Humboldt Park neighbourhood of Chicago and we’re visiting Wild Prairie Vinyl & Vintage. Although the shop has only been open for three years, it is already an important part of the community. We talk with the shop’s owners Natasha Rac and Alex G about how the shop came to be and how they managed to make such a welcoming space.
