Soul Revivers: Glen Brown Special

This Soul Revivers Special looks back at the music of Glen Brown, from vocalist in the late-60s Rocksteady period, to boundary-pushing producer in the Roots era. Glen Brown’s music always had a unique edge, which certainly wasn't hindered by him frequently working with his south-east Kingtson neighbour, the great King Tubbys. Glen Brown collaborated with many artists through his career, and the show features 60s tunes with Hopeton Lewis and Lloyd Robinson, plus roots selections from Gregory Isaacs, Roman Stewart, Tommy McCook, Big Youth and Sylford Walker.
