Soul Revivers’ David Hill selects two hours of music from two of the most important US-based reggae labels of the 1980s and 90s – Jah Life and Live & Learn. The labels were operated by two Jamaican-born brothers, Delroy and Hyman Wright, who emigrated to the United States, one to Brooklyn, the other to Washington DC. The two labels worked closely together and were hugely influential. The show features tracks from Cornell Campbell, Michael Prophet, Sugar Minott, Al Campbell and several cuts from Barrington Levy including a vintage dubplate.
