His mix, titled “Breakfast in a Cha Chaan Teng,” is inspired by his visit to Hong Kong in October 2024, capturing the excitement and anticipation of starting the day before heading out to explore the city. Deejay Nye is a Filipino-British DJ and promoter from London, and co-founder of Half East Records, a collective that platforms ESEA (East and Southeast Asian) DJs, artists, and creatives. His eclectic sets create a unique “East meets West” fusion, blending City Pop, Disco, Boogie, Jazz, House, Vaporwave, Budots, Rare Groove, and more, using both vinyl and digital. He also hosts the monthly shows ‘Dream In The Street’ on LOOSE.FM and ‘dream-cast’ on Voices Radio.
