Valentine Comar introduces a new segment on the Worldwide Breakfast; "Breakfast with..." where artists share the music they love to wake up to and introduce their latest projects. Kicking things off is multi-instrumentalist, producer, and label founder Nonna Fab, who brings a personal selection of morning tunes and gives us a first listen to tracks from his debut EP Nature is Enlightenment on his new label, Movement and Soul Records—a rich blend of spiritual jazz, broken beat, and deep house.
As always, Valentine will be weaving in new and not-so-new music before and after the segment. This week, she’s been reflecting on the power of spiritual healing—where improvisation becomes self-discovery—and how grey skies seem to call for jazz.
