Worldwide Breakfast: Valentine Comar w/ Reda Kechouri (guest mix)

Breakfast with Radio Nostalgie

This week on Worldwide Breakfast, Valentine Comar invites Reda Kechouri to contribute to the ongoing “Breakfast at…” guest mix series. A fixture in London’s deep listening spaces— like Brilliant Corners, Beauty and the Beat, and Giant Steps —Reda is known for his soulful, genre-blurring sets — spanning rare groove, ambient, boogie, and global curios — his style reflects a deep love for storytelling through sound.

Reda has prepared a Breakfast with Radio Nostalgie — a lovingly warped take on French 80s pop, reimagined through a balearic lens with smooth jazz undertones. Drawing from cassette-era romanticism and breezy Mediterranean textures, the mix drifts between nostalgia and daydream and a gentle sense of humour.

As always, with Valentine’s weekly selection on the side, including french tunes, an exclusive first play of Sheldon Agwu’s new single and some new music from Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange, Secular Music Group / 2 Headed Deer , Hector Plimmer / Tawiah / Marysia Osu & Monzanto Sound, along with some not so new music.
