Nasir Rasheed moved from London to Seattle in the early ’90s and quickly became a local champion for current UK club sounds. Nasir’s tastemaker and storytelling skills led him to launch the Sweet Mother record label and work with brands Armani, Colette and The Standard Hotel. His mix is a sonic reflection of the past year as he witnessed it right in front of his Seattle home. In Nasir’s words: “The music is not geared for your bumping enjoyment.
