Kayla Painter‘s monthly show “Connections to Sound”. In every episode, she will be exploring our innate connection to sound through the world around us. Playing music across the spectrum focusing on electronic, experimental, and downtempo for your Monday afternoon.

Kayla is joined by Yorkshire based producer and performer Thomas Ragsdale. Ragsdales work draws a link between euphoric and evocative electronica, playing with panoramic pulses, slow-morphing textures, fluttering arpeggios and transcending builds. Ragsdale’s music has been featured in Adam Curtis' BBC documentaries alongside the likes of Brian Eno, Burial and Aphex Twin. Ragsdale is part of Domino Publishing's exclusive and prestigious composer roster alongside Jon Hopkins, Luke Abbott and Hannah Peel.

Producing and performing under a variety of pseudonyms (namely Ffion & Sulk Rooms) and composing music for film and TV under his birth name, Thomas joins Kayla for a guest mix on today's show.
