The Voices of Creation are a community-based choir led by Jimetta Rose, a vocalist, songwriter, arranger, producer, and mainstay of the Los Angeles scene. They consist of a multigenerational group of mostly non-professional singers backed by some of the city’s finest musicians. While their music may recall Kamasi Washington, The Staple Singers, or Sly Stone, Jimetta’s unique vision creates spiritually charged music that embraces love, joy, and peace as a sonic healing balm for the soul. To celebrate their recent album, "Things Are Getting Better," Jimetta has curated a special day featuring artists from her LA community.
