The Voices of Creation are a community-based choir led by Jimetta Rose, a vocalist, songwriter, arranger, producer, and mainstay of the Los Angeles scene. They consist of a multigenerational group of mostly non-professional singers backed by some of the city’s finest musicians. While their music may recall Kamasi Washington, The Staple Singers, or Sly Stone, Jimetta’s unique vision creates spiritually-charged music that embraces love, joy, and peace as a sonic healing balm for the soul. To celebrate their recent album, "Things Are Getting Better," Jimetta has curated a special day featuring artists from her LA community.
