Representing the alternative in European music and attitude, Match&Fuse's Debra Richards takes up Worldwide FM’s purpose of uncovering artists hell-bent on staying true to themselves.
Composer, band leader and multi-instrumentalist Matthew Halsall has opened up routes for musicians in the north-west of England through his Gondwana Records and Orchestra. He joins Debra on the show and gives an insight into the start of his music journey and how his work and attitude has been motivated by eastern philosophies. Also in the show there is music from new Irish band Roamer, the Norwegian ensemble Ojkos, and London-based SAUL, as well as tracks from saxophonists Chris Bowden and Camilla George.
